To put together a perfect bid you have to be able to demonstrate the need for this funding in your area. To help you do this we have put together fact sheets on the five districts in West Yorkshire and further ones in Ethnic Minority education and the skills in Yorkshire and the Humber as a whole.

This information covers the socio-economic data for the area, the population and the educational achievement. There is some information about health in the area too. A lot of it is based on the Indices of Deprivation 2007 and is compiled by the Office of National Statistics to see what issues are facing people in small areas. We have pulled together the overall figures for each area, but these Indices can be broken down into wards, this information can be found at the Office of National Statistics Website.
